So you can make the best use of your time by only having to add links, texts, and images for 2 products and get the best financial return on your actions.
I've had many questions, from people who sell our courses on their websites, asking me how many of the range of courses in the Affiliate program should they sell.
Sometimes they have limited room on their site or blog, or they ant to concentrate their time on making a good sales page for a couple of the courses rather than a full section.
This is how you can sell only 2 of the courses, make a really good promotion because you are promoting just 2 courses, and get a great return for your time and space.
Use the Contrasting Price Technique
The Contrasting Price Technique works by having just 2 products for sales in close proximity on your webpage, blog, or mail out. One of the products should be the most expensive and the other should be from the middle of the range.
Some people will tell you to use the cheapest product to contrast with the highest value one. This is wrong and you will see why as you read on.
So from the
Affiliate Sales pages you could select the 4 Courses eBook, the highest value course, and a mid range course such as Making Sales Appointments by Telephone. Promote the lower value product first using the text, images, and links we supply in the
Affiliate Program Guide, and add a note saying:
Before you buy decide to buy take a look below at the 4 Sales Training Courses which includes this course.
Lower down the page promote the 4 Sales Training Courses eBooks, again using the free text, sales copy, and links that we provide. Make sure you include a note double highlighting that this course includes the lower priced one you advertised higher up the page.
Why This Technique Works
The technique works because the potential buyer sees the lower priced course first. If the have even a small amount of interest in it they will read some of the text and see the price. When they see your note telling them not to buy before seeing the higher value 4 Sales Training Courses they will do as you instruct because it's not often a seller will tell them not to buy yet.
When they see the second more expensive product, that includes the first eBook course they have just read about, they have a decision to make. Do they buy the first lower priced sales training course, or do they pay just a little more and get the first course they read about and 3 others as well.
